William Henry Owens

Mr. William Henry Owens, 85, of Dawson, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Willson Hospice House of Albany.

Born on September 1, 1940, in Miller County, GA, Mr. Owens was the son of that late Jim and Martha Cross Owens. He served our country in the United States Army and worked for Miller Brewer for many years. Mr. Owens greatly enjoyed the outdoors, studying his Bible, and working in his yard. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his children, Darryl Owens of Bainbridge and Angela Owens and Boyd of Sylvester, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Owens will be cremated and the family will host a memorial at a later date.
