Van Leroy Palmer

Mr. Van Leroy Palmer, 74, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his home.

Born October 14, 1950, in Orlando, FL, Mr. Palmer was the son of the late Deloy Palmer and Willene Bedsole Palmer. He worked as a meat cutter for many years and before retirement worked for Publix. He enjoyed NASCAR, Football, and was of the Baptist faith. Most dear to him in this life was his family and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his brother, Russell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Pam Palmer of Leesburg; children, Angela Summerland and Dan of Michigan, Cliff Palmer of Orlando, FL, Jeff Kruse of New Jersey, and Babette Cooper and Anthony of Leesburg; sisters, Delores, Mary, Diane, and Cheryl; brothers, David, and Bobby, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services are private as the family plans to honor his life at a later date.
