Tony Dewayne Goodman

Mr. Tony Dewayne Goodman, 59, of Leesburg, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home.

Born April 30, 1963, in Indiana, Tony was the son of Boyd and Edith Green. He worked as a landscaping supervisor for Albany Technical College for several years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with his beloved family. He was of the Christian faith and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia “Renee” Goodman of Leesburg; his father Boyd Green of Leesburg; son, Dewayne Bentley Goodman; 3 grandchildren, Bentley, Maddie, and Cole; 2 sisters, Denise Burchett, and Starlet Stafford; and his mother-in-law, Lorraine Vilaseco of Leesburg.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Green.
