Thomas Walter Stafford

Mr. Thomas Walter Stafford, 77, of Albany peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at his home.

According to his wishes, services for Mr. Stafford will be private.

Born July 20, 1947, in Minnesota, Thomas was the son of the late Gene Stafford and Shirley Diver Stafford. He proudly served in the Marines for 20 years and retired from the Dougherty County Sheriff department as a dedicated deputy from 1989-2006. He enjoyed fishing and will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Curran Stafford. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jason Stafford and two grandchildren, Harley Stafford and Landon Stafford.
