Stacey Lynn Hayes

Mr. Stacey Lynn Hayes, 57, of Monroe and formerly of Lee County, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025.

Born February 24, 1968, in Albany, Stacey graduated from Lee County High School. He then worked for several years in electrical work with Georgia Electric, B&B Electric and Pressley Electric. He greatly enjoyed going to the beach, hunting, and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Hayes, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Glenda Hayes of Albany; children, Tritt Douglas Hayes of Americus, Bryce Owen Hayes of Monroe, and Dixey Rosemary Hayes of Monroe; siblings, Robert Hayes Jr. and Johnny of Leesburg, Richard Glenn Hayes of Albany, and Tammie Michelle Corley of Sylvester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services honoring his life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Cameron Hayes officiating. The family will meet with friends immediately following the service.
