Sara Ann Head

Mrs. Sara Ann Head, 72, of Dawson, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Born on December 3, 1952, in Cuthbert, Sara was the daughter of the late Homer Cato and Mildred Virgina Stewart Cato. She worked as an LPN for many years and enjoyed fishing. Most of all she loved her family and was Baptist by faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Guy Marvin Head of Dawson; her children, Bonnie Dolan and Marcus of Albany, and Chris Head of Leesburg; 3 grandchildren, Hadley, Lawson, and Cooper; her sister, Gladys Schlodder and Elmer; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated, and the family will host a service at a later date.
