Sandra Altman Davis

Ms. Sandra Altman Davis, 82, of Sylvester, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Born on December 14, 1942, in Waycross, Sandra was the daughter of the late Walter C. Altman and Theda Grace Dixon Altman. She worked as a beautician for a while and later worked as an inspector with Federal State in the peanut industry. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, but most of all loved spending time with her beloved family. She was Baptist by faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Stuart, and her brother, David Altman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Stephanie Van Matre and Richard of Sylvester, Sandy Stuart of Leesburg, and Stephen Davis and Helen of Leesburg; 2 grandchildren, Colby VanMatre and Rachelle, and Cassidy Tison and Jared all of Sylvester; 4 great-grandchildren, Elsie, Beckham, Lainey, and Darci; her brother, Tommy Altman of Athens; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In accordance with her wishes the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
