Ms. Peggy Jean Hanks, 75, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Sunday morning, March 8, 2026, at Willson Hospice House.
Born September 16, 1950, in Corpus Christi, TX, she was the daughter of the late William Bridgman and Dorothy Jacks Bridgman. She worked in administration for many years and was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished her time with family, especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and was of the Christian faith.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Amanda Harris and John of Leesburg, and James Hanks of Sanford, FL; and her 3 beloved grandchildren, Jack Bowden and Camille, John Harris, III, and Kaitlyn Harris.
The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date to be announced.
