Norma Jean Coxwell

Mrs. Norma Jean Coxwell, 79, of Dawson went home to be with Jesus early Monday morning, May 6, 2024.

Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg. Joseph W. Jones officiated and she was laid to rest next to her infant son, Robin that preceded in her in death.

In addition to her parents and her infant son, she was also preceded in death by 3 grandsons and 1 sister.

Born on July 29, 1944, in Cedartown, GA, Mrs. Coxwell was the daughter of the late Luther Allen and Ruth Helen Womack Allen. She worked for almost 20 years with the Lee County School System as a para pro library assistant. She was a member of the former Liberty Parkway Church of God of Albany for many years, loved The Lord and her family more than anything.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Lee Coxwell; her children, Rebecca, Shelly, and Andrew; sisters, Alice, Sandra, and Tina; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
