Maria Anita Anguiano

Mrs. Maria Anita Anguiano, 74, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Willson Hospice House.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Father Raymond Levreault officiating.  The family will visit with friends following the service.  

Born on October 1, 1951, in Texas, Maria was the daughter of the late Vince and Cruz Garcia. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who cared well for her beloved family. She enjoyed gardening and growing orchids. She was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Reymundo Anguiano, Jr.; her children, Reymundo “JJ” Anguiano of Albany, and Misty Spanberger and David of Pensacola, FL; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Arrangements for her celebration of life will be announced soon by Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg.
