Maggie Phillips

Ms. Madgelyn “Maggie” Delores Phillips, 74, of Leesburg, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at her home.

Born on December 22, 1951, in Albany, Maggie, was the daughter of the late Arthur Bartlett, Sr. and Mary Ridley Bartlett. She worked as a desk clerk at a local hotel, enjoyed reading, and talking on the phone. She loved her family and was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Williams, and her siblings, Sunnie Pedigo, Mike Bartlett, and Doris Mitchell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Shawn Williams of Cartersville; 4 grandchildren, her siblings, Jack Bartlett of Sylvester, Janice Edwards and Lamar of Forsyth, Sandi Jo Walker of Leesburg, Wayne Bartlett and LeeOla of Bridgeboro, Scott Bartlett of Leesburg, and Rhonda Bartlett of Leesburg; several nieces nephews and extended family members.

In accordance with Maggie’s wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
