Linda Diane "Nanny" Bailey

Mrs. Linda Diane “Nanny” Bailey, 75, of Leslie, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home.

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Tim Bass will officiate.

Born on August 22, 1950, in Arlington, GA, Diane was the daughter of the late John William Addison, Sr. and Alpha Lee Jackson Addison. She worked as a dedicated sales associate at Walmart in Lee County since 2002. Diane enjoyed gardening and especially liked tomatoes. She also enjoyed cooking and fishing and was of the Christian faith. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was affectionally known as Nanny to everyone. 

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pat Bailey, and several siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are those she considered her children, Colden Vinent and Jessica of Leesburg, and Bryanna Enfinger and Jon of Dawson; grandsons, Cole, Cooper, Kenneth, and Preston; her brother, John Addison and Ruby of Baker County, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
