Johnny Lee Strawder

Mr. Johnny Lee Strawder, 70, of Bronwood, peacefully passed away on Friday morning, July 25, 2025, at Seymour Southern Comfort of Bronwood.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 4, 2025, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Leesburg Cemetery once the weather conditions permit. 

Born on December 27, 1954, in Albany, Georgia, Johnny was the son of James Leo Strawder, Jr. and Mittie Grayhouse Strawder. He worked for the City of Albany as Supervisor over Sewer Maintenance. After retiring from the City of Albany, he worked with his uncle at Strawder’s Plumbing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching TV, and smoking cigarettes. Johnny was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Terrilea Strawder and great- granddaughter, Autumn Fox.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Kristy Davis and Shawn of Ellaville, April Smith and Shawn of Albany, James Strawder and Edwin of Atlanta; grandchildren, Nicole (Michael Bell), Christian, Madyson, Kayleigh, Isabella, and Theiry; great-grandchildren, Haley, Mason, Braidyn, Trey, and Oakland Faye; three sisters, Susan Rooks, Debra Cone, and Celena Henry; and several nieces and nephews that loved him.
