James Mathis Little, Jr.

Mr. James Mathis Little, Jr., 70, of Leesburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home.

Services honoring his life will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Andersonville National Cemetery.

Born in Albany on April 18, 1953, Mr. Little was the son of the late James Mathis Little, Sr., and Darthie Corbitt Little. He faithfully served his country in The United States Navy and worked at The Marine Corp Logistics Base of Albany for several years. He loved the outdoors and being on the creek. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Little was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Little.

Survivors include his two sons, James Little III. and Rachel of Mooresville, NC, and Jacob Little of Savannah; grandchildren, Boone and Nora Little of Mooresville, NC; sisters, Emily Johnson and David of Leesburg, and Dottie Kimball and Mark of Texas; several nieces and nephews.
