Jack Arnold Comp

Jack Arnold Comp, age 86, peacefully passed away on Tuesday October 21, 2025, at his home in Leesburg.

Born on July 20, 1939, in Hastings, Michigan, Jack was the son of Musser and Florence McClelland Comp. At age 16 Jack went to work as a telecommunicator for Western Union which eventually changed over to GTE. He worked as a contractor for the US Gov in the US and Germany with GTE and after many years retired.

Jack loved golfing and fishing, his family and the Lord. After retiring he and Carol spent 7 years traveling the United States in a customized bus.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Carol G. Comp and his younger brother, Larry Comp.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jack Comp, Jr. and Venard Sova, both of Michigan; his daughter, Tammy Poling of Leesburg; four grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service.
