Glen Samuel Castleberry

Mr. Glen Samuel Castleberry, 66, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with visitation one-hour prior beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Randy Graham will officiate with interment in the Providence Cemetery, in Worth County.

Born on October 18, 1959, in Albany, Glen was the son of the late Robert Castleberry and Viola Wright Castleberry. He worked for the Lee County Board of Education as a dedicated school bus driver for 28 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, camping, horses and loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed watching football especially The Georgia Bulldogs. Glen could often be found working out or playing tennis in his free time. Most important to him was his family and time spent with each of them. He was Baptist by faith. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend he will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sandra Castleberry; his children, Jeremy Castleberry and Alizabeth of Leesburg, Matthew Castleberry and Ashley of Leesburg, and John Michael Castleberry of Valdosta; step-sons, Adam Braley of Leesburg, David Miller and Michelle, and Jason Crabb all of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Lillykate, Lane, and Lauren Castleberry all of Leesburg; sisters, Carol Lewis and Ronald of Arabi and Angela Doyle and Tim of Leesburg; several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
