Epifanio Sandez Ibarra

Mr. Epifanio Sandez Ibarra, 59, of Leesburg, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Born January 13, 1967, in Guerrero Negro, Epifanio was the son of the late Victor Ibarra and Consuelo Sandez. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He had his pilots license and enjoyed flying and building model planes. He was a member of Shema Baptist Church of Ellaville, GA.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and James Carter of Leesburg; granddaughter, Gabby; brothers, Victor and Antonio; and sisters, Getru and Lupe.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Ibarra will be cremated and the family will host a service at a later date.

Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg has been entrusted with the care of the Ibarra family.
