Dennis Sellers

Mr. Dennis Monroe Sellers, 70, of Leesburg, GA passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Willson Hospice House, in Albany, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. (EST), Thursday, January 8, 2026, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Joseph W. Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends until 7:30 p.m. after the funeral.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., (CST) on Friday, January 9, 2026, in Highland Memorial Gardens, in Bessemer, AL.

Born on January 9, 1955, in Bessemer, AL, Dennis was the son of the late Francis Monroe Sellers and Nadine Gilbert Douglas. He worked in the family business, Interstate Batteries owned by his father for several years until retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. After retirement he enjoyed relaxing at the lake and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Sellers and his daughter, Jennifer Sellers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Michelle Keller and Deandra Sellers both of Leesburg; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Ramsey, Lacey Clemence and Eric, Brian McCrary, and Hannah McCrary all of Leesburg; 7 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Isabella, Kyzer, Trevor, Quinn, Kyle, and Briar; and his sister, Theresa Oglesby of Bessemer, AL.
