Deloris "Jeannie" Jean Mello

Ms. Deloris “Jeannie” Jean Mello, 76, of Leary, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her son’s home in Montezuma.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg with Bro. Roy Bradshaw officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.

Born March 3, 1949, in Albany, Jeannie was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Pauline Bullington Bradshaw. She worked for several years for Procter & Gamble in production. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, and working outdoors. She also greatly enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. She was Baptist by faith and greatly loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank Bradshaw, Jimmy Bradshaw, Ray Bradshaw, Robert Bradshaw, and Patricia Milner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Duane Rogers and Amy of Pelham, Ronnette Tyson and Homer of Putney, and Oryan Mello and Sherry of Montezuma; grandchildren, Donovan Rogers, Brandon Rogers, Andrew Rogers and Misty, Chris Cunningham and Lisa, and Chad Cunningham and Kayleigh; 14 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Joyce Hambleton and Joseph of Leesburg, Teddy Bradshaw and Linda of Putney, and Brenda Hampton and Danny of Tennessee.
