Mr. Charles Albritton, 89, of Albany went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 1, 2024.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastors Trent and Keisha Cory will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Born on December 21, 1934, in Columbus, GA, Mr. Albritton was the son of the late Charles E. Albritton and Flora Mae Snell Albritton. He retired from M & M Mars and devoted his life to caring for his family. He loved Jesus and his family most of all and dedicated many years as a deacon and serving the church faithfully. He loved reading his Bible daily, was a prayer warrior, enjoyed playing softball with the church, fishing, and playing spades. He attended Hope City United with his family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Albritton was preceded in death by his two brothers, Edward and Ray Albritton.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of almost 72 years, Susie Albritton; children, Debra Duren and Jack of Albany, Charlean Moss and Danny of Lee County, and Rhonda Cook and Jerry of Leesburg; 7 grandchildren, Pastors Keisha Cory and Trent of Albany, Phillip Chad Moss and Becky of Leesburg, Brooklyn Harris and Buck of Florida, Brad Moss and Jamie of Leesburg, Michael Bland and Lindsay of Florida, John Bland and Sean of South Korea, and Nicole Bland of Albany; 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
