Brenda Dunham

Ms. Brenda Miller Dunham, 75, of Leesburg, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Daughtry officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Following the services, she will be laid to rest in the Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawson.

Born October 5, 1948, in Dawson, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Miller and Lucille Hasty Miller. She worked as the manager of Federal State Credit Union for many years up until her retirement. Brenda loved the Lord dearly and enjoyed going to church. In her free time, she could be found gardening, shopping, doing crafts, or cooking wonderful meals for her family to enjoy. She was known as selfless and always giving of her time to anyone who needed her. She led her family by example and was a strong woman of God. Brenda had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family and friends. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Teresa Davis; her great granddaughter, Kylah Price; and her siblings, Leon, Carol, Glennon, and Barbara.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two children, Melanie Price (Ronnie) of Liberty, NC and Jerrett Dunham (Claudia) of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren, Mason Price, Mercedes Price, Cainon Dunham, and Jocko Dunham; great grandchildren, Gianna Price and Royce Price; sister, Becky Dowdy of Leesburg; her best friend who was like a sister, Belinda Barto; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
