Mr. Billy Shaun Palmer, 37, of Lee County, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US HWY 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763. Rev. Kip Boswell will officiate. Born November 22, 1977 in North Wilkesboro, N.C., Mr. Palmer graduated from Worth County High and worked for many years as a painter. He loved his wife and children dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and teaching his boys all he could. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and making his flower gardens blossom with beauty. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Abby Catherine Palmer of Lee County; his 3 boys, Carson Riley Johnson, Caleb William Palmer and Calton Ray Palmer all of Lee County; 2 brothers, Ronnie Shane Palmer of Holly Spings, M.S. and Daniel Luke Palmer of Albany; his parents, William "Bill" and Diane Palmer of Sylvester; maternal grandfather, Wilmer Breece Evans; paternal grandparents, William Robert and Shirley Jane Johnson Palmer of Roaring River, N.C. and his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Teresa Shealy of Lawrenceville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lois Jean Pollard Evans. The family will receive friends at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home following the service.
