Alanna Kierstin Fox

Alanna Kierstin Fox, 25, of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, in Lee County.

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Philema Road Baptist Church with Pastor Aaron McCulley officiating. The family will also visit with friends on Sunday, May 7th at her mother’s home at 3608 Vanderbilt Dr. Albany, GA 31721 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on May 19, 1997, in Albany, Alanna was known as a little hippy that could sing like an angel. Her smile and presence always filled the room with happiness. Alanna loved singing with her dad in the group Bodean and The Poachers and making beautiful harmony with her mother. She loved animals more than people, yet she loved everyone. She loved her tie dye shirts and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Philema Road Baptist Church of Leesburg. A loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Mike Fox.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Deanna and Bruce Verneau of Albany; her father, Todd Fox of Leesburg; sister, Caitlin Michelle Fox; niece, Emery Mae Fox of Leesburg; paternal grandmother, Gloria Fox of Leesburg; maternal grandparents, Dale Brooks and Velma of Americus and Sandra Craven and Steve of Mitchell County; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorial contributions in Alanna’s name may be sent to the Lee County Animal Shelter at 101 Mossy Dell Rd. Leesburg, GA 31763.
