Troy Edwin Nelson

Mr. Troy Edwin Nelson, 88, of Leesburg, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home.

Born on November 29, 1935, in Worth County, Mr. Nelson was the son of the late Paul Hill Nelson and Leah Shiver Nelson. He faithfully served his country and retired from The United States Air Force and Civil Service. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed time spent with his family and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Stephanie Nelson of Jacksonville, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Jean Lewis and Robert of Americus; brother, James Nelson and Mary of Michigan; 2 grandchildren, Zachery and Jessica, several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Nelson no services are planned.
