Kristy Louise Allen

Ms. Kristy Louise Allen, 46, of Lee County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Schluckebier officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 14, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Leesburg Cemetery. Kristy was born on October 18, 1972 in Akron, OH to Arthur and Donna Covin. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. Kristy was a devoted mother, attended Life Church of Leesburg and especially enjoyed spending time and getting to keep her grandchild. A loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her son, Josh Allen. Survivors include her children, Tera Murillo Enriquez (Jonathan) of Dawson, and Jesse Allen of Leesburg; parents, Arthur and Donna Covin of Lee County; and sister, Michelle Daniel (John) of Putney.
