Aaron Matthew Reece

Mr. Aaron Matthew Reece, 50, of Sasser, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service honoring his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 9, 2023, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Dr. Morris Harpe officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Born October 27, 1972, in Greenfield, IN, he was the son of Paula Jeanette Watson. Aaron worked for many years as a mechanic and in the home repair industry. He attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church where he was baptized. He was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan, and in his free time enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR races. A beloved father, son, nephew, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Katie Spindler.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 3 children, Brianna Reece, Holly Reece, and Ariel Reece, all of Sasser; mother, Jeanette Watson of Sasser; aunts and uncles, Myrtle Yokem of Albany, Mary Breasette of Adrian, Richard Taylor of Kentucky, and William Taylor (Jean) of Indiana.
